We arrived at the Olympic Village two days ago and were greeted by this fabulous Olympic Moose. The anticipation of getting to the village kept us awake after flying all night and arriving in London in the morning. It was an exciting day and to be welcomed by our Canadian delegation and Mark Tewksbury our Chief de Mission was awesome . First to get settled into our 2 town houses and then make our way by public transport  to “staging”, where we were fitted for what seemed like 20 pieces of clothing,  and presented with the Official Canadian Olympic bag. These women are truly taking it all in so graciously and as women, they are first and foremost outstanding individuals, high calibre, and as athletes they are self reliant and professional. There is still a lot of work to be done in the next couple of weeks and everyday we train, we develop, and everyday is another opportunity to get better at what we do. I’m the photographer and do a little physiotherapy on the side.
